alone
and so she stood alone
aire rushing through her hair
the breeze creating ripples in her clothing
like waves flowing over her body
her eyes closed as she looked up to the sky,
the sun spying through the clouds
when they would let him through
to shower his rays across the waves
time was lost for an instant
she was lost in the glory of the world
and the passion in her soul
but it was coming to and end
her eys opened
and she cast them down
aware that this was not her life
but a bit part of it;
where time had stopped
and all was right
but turning, she saw the rain
as the wind that caressed her pushed it forward
the clouds gathered strength
pushing out the sun
and she realized
this is what it is to be alone.
